Where is Field & Stream Lodge Co. Bozeman located?

We’re located at 5 Baxter Lane, just one mile from historic downtown Bozeman and a 15-minute drive from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN). With quick access to all that downtown Bozeman has to offer, as well as some of Montana’s most iconic rivers and ski areas, it’s an ideal base for exploring.

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 72-hour cancellation policy in place. If you cancel within those 72 hours, there is a charge of one night’s room rate, plus tax. Advance Purchase Rates are prepaid at time of booking and are non-refundable.

How do I update/change/cancel my reservation?

Our team is happy to help you out with your current reservation, whether you need to modify or cancel. Please note that third-party reservations made on alternative sites must be modified/canceled with them directly.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Diners Club. We do accept cash payments, but a credit card must be provided for incidental charges at check-in.

Is there a minimum age for reservations?

While guests of all ages are welcome here at Field & Stream Bozeman, we do require that guests be 21 years old to check in.

What time is check-in / check-out?

Our check-in time is 4pm. Checkout is 11am.

Can I request an early check-in?

Of course! If we have the availability to check you in early, we’re happy to accommodate your request. Anything that gets you settled and ready to get outside in Bozeman, we’re all for it. Just ask our team.

Can I arrange a late check out?

If you’re looking to stay a little longer, ask our team and we’ll see what we can do. Late checkouts are based on availability.

Is it possible to store my luggage before check-in or after my check-out?

Yes, we can store your luggage before your arrival or after checkout.

Is there an amenity fee?

Yes, our daily amenity fee is $10 plus taxes and includes parking, WiFi, in-room coffee and tea, unlimited calls (local and domestic long-distance) and luggage storage.

Absolutely. Bozeman is a year-round destination, and the lodge is built for all-season comfort—from summer trailheads to winter après-ski nights.

What types of accommodations are available?

Choose from a range of well-designed rooms, including Mountain Kings, Queen-Queen rooms, Bunk Rooms, and Camper-Connecting Suites—great for families or groups. Each space features smart layouts, built-in gear storage, wool camp blankets, and subtle nods to Field & Stream’s heritage.

Can I request connecting or family rooms?

You bet! If we have the availability, we’ll do what we can to get you checked-in to a connecting room. It’s a great option for families and groups of friends traveling together.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Absolutely. We offer ADA-accessible rooms and all our common spaces, including the indoor pool, restaurant, and parking areas are accessible as well.

Is there housekeeping daily?

Yes, housekeeping is available upon request. After a day of local adventures and exploring the outdoors, we understand that your room might need a refresh!

Are there mini fridges in the rooms?

Yup! Our mini-fridges are available to keep all your favorite drinks and snacks fresh and cold.

Can I bring my own food & beverage to the room?

Absolutely. Snack and sip it up! Be sure to stop by our Supply Shop and see what goodies they have available to grab.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes, we have a safe in every room.

Are pack ‘n plays or rollaway beds available?

While we are a family-friendly hotel, we unfortunately do not offer pack ‘n plays or rollaway beds. However, locally-owned Bozeman Baby Gear offers a wide variety of supplies and baby necessities and will deliver it directly to the hotel.

Is Field & Stream Lodge dog-friendly?

We happily welcome dogs at Field & Stream Bozeman. Pet guests receive a custom dog bed, water bowl, and local treats. There is a max of two dogs per room with a nightly fee of $50 per dog. All dog breeds are welcome as long as they’re well-behaved, and our surrounding trails and parks are also great for walks with your four-legged friends.

What’s the smoking policy on property?

Nope, no smoking is allowed on property. 

Do you have WiFi?

Yes! Guests can enjoy free WiFi in all public spaces and hotel rooms.

Field & Stream Bozeman’s amenities include:

What are the fitness center hours?

The fitness center is open 24/7. You will need your room key to access it.

Do you offer dry cleaning services?

Sure thing! We provide dry cleaning using a local company located here in Bozeman.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Is parking available?

Parking is available for hotel guests. It is included in our $10 nightly amenity fee.

Is RV and trailer parking available?

We’ll try to make room! But please call us first to confirm space for RV parking as we are very limited.

Do you arrange airport transfers?

No, we do not offer airport transfers. Please contact our team for local transportation options in Bozeman.

How do I get to Field & Stream Bozeman from the airport?

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) is just 10 miles away from Field & Stream Lodge Co. There are a variety of rental car companies, Uber and Lyft and numerous private hire transportation services offered at the airport.

Are rental cars available in the area (other than at the airport)?

Ready to explore Bozeman and need a car? We recommend Enterprise Rent-a-Car, located four miles from Field & Stream Lodge Co.

Is there a business center?

We don’t have a business center on property, however there is a Staples at 2975 Max Ave (2 miles from the hotel) with same day print, fax, copy services.

Do you offer printing/faxing/copying services?

Our guests love using Field & Steam Bozeman as a launchpad for unforgettable days outside. Here are a few favorite ways to explore the region:

Hiking & Trail Running
The “M” Trail, just five minutes from the lodge, offers sweeping views of the Gallatin Valley on a 2.4-mile loop. Nearby favorites also include Palisade Falls and Lava Lake. In summer, trails throughout the Bridger Range and Gallatin National Forest open up even more terrain to explore.

Fly Fishing
Bozeman sits between three Blue Ribbon rivers—the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone—making it a fly fishing hub. Local shops like Montana Troutfitters and Yellow Dog Fly Fishing offer supplies and local expertise.

Winter Sports
Bridger Bowl (just 20 minutes away) and Big Sky Resort (about an hour) offer excellent downhill skiing and snowboarding. For Nordic trails and snowshoe routes, head to Lindley Park, Hyalite Canyon, or Crosscut Mountain Sports Center.

Field & Stream Bozeman is a great starting point for half- or full-day adventures beyond town:

Dry Fly Saloon offers all-day dining with a Montana twist, plus an Adventure Menu stocked with packable snacks and meals you can take to the trail or river.

The Honey Hole is our dive bar and restaurant, serving cocktails, local beer, and wine. It’s a laid-back spot to unwind, catch a game, or meet up with friends.
